Borrowdale
November 21-23
£425
Set in a gorgeous, converted barn in the stunning and magical setting of the Borrowdale Valley in the English Lake District we invite you to come, and take the time to explore what the divine feminine means to you. The barn holds a very special energy and has been converted with pure love and devotion to detail.
Following the energy of the seasons as autumn turns to winter, we have the perfect opportunity to go within to discover the special creativity and magic that it is to be a woman.
There are just 10 places available on this wonderful intimate retreat in this dramatic, awe-inspiring location. Harnessing the change of the seasons, the snugness of wintertime and the feeling of hibernation we will connect with mother nature and go deep within ourselves to explore the divine feminine – what it is to be a woman.
This divine feminine awakening retreat is a soulful call to you, feel the calling deep in your heart and soul to discover and awaken your true divine feminine nature.
Through intention setting, exploration, and ritual we welcome self-love, confidence, joy and finding the path of your true self. We acknowledge and honour you by holding this safe and sacred space for you to feel empowered, set your boundaries and choose who and how we love. We release control and the paradigm of what femininity is to claim back our power.
Divine feminine retreat
This retreat is all about rediscovering yourself, and your divine feminine energy within. Sharing this special experience with a small group of wonderful of women that have come together to share this transformative weekend, we use a range of practices to go deep within ourselves and connect with our divine feminine.
Yoga outdoors (weather permitting) in the valley enables us to really feel into our body while experiencing our true nature – as part of nature.
Story Weaving and creativity using the power of story we are guided into a place of exploration around the divine feminine and we harness our creativity as we bring this to life.
Breathwork allows us to go deep within – creating an inner space of calm with a powerful connection between mind and body, shifting the old to make way for the new.
Forest bathing and outdoor mindfulness slows us down to expand and experience the valley and mountains – opening our eyes to a new perspective, feeling into the seasonal change as we head into winter and nature begins her hibernation.
Crystal bowl sound bath supports us to relax and unwind while the sound of the bowls work their healing magic on every cell in our bodies
Moon Bathing and Campfire, as the day gives way to night, we will moon bathe with a fire and return to the ‘old ways’ of our ancestors as the long nights are drawing in.
Cacao Ceremony, the beautiful properties of this wonderful plant medicine and powerful drumming escorts us on a meditative journey of discovery into the divine feminine within us all.

Accomodation
Set in a converted old slate barn nestled in the Borrowdale Valley at the end of Derwent Water in the Lake District this retreat is homely and welcoming. This is a private location on an old farm in one of England’s most dramatic valleys, we have our own private outdoor area as well as access to stunning walks from our door and mountains either side.
Flynn’s barn has been beautifully restored and converted with love and attention to detail. Where possible all the furniture is reclaimed, restored, and upcycled so its ecological imprint is kept to a minimum whilst maintaining high standards and unique bespoke feel.
The energy of the barn is amazing – it feels spacious and fresh yet cosy and warm at the same time, the perfect space for our retreat as we move with the seasons from autumn into winter and settle into a slower and calmer hibernation period of the year.
The shared accommodation is open plan light and spacious. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The dining area is in the main section of lower barn and consists of a long old oak table perfect for us to share beautiful nourishing food together.
The living room is part of the open plan lower floor of the barn (there are cosy break off private snug areas upstairs if you want some quiet time alone of in a smaller group). This seated area is comfortable and snug perfect for our meditations and other activities. There are large double height glass doors with views of the mountains enclosing the valley with a lovely stove for a roaring fire and double height balcony looking up to the roof of the barn giving the area a feeling of light and space.
The shared accommodation has luxurious hot showers with big rain heads. The sleeping accommodation is in the upstairs of the barn, this consists of single beds and bunk beds arranged over several different rooms and spaces, there are 2 sets of bunk beds and 2 single beds on the mezzanine split into 4 distinct areas and then a separate room with 4 single beds. All the sleeping areas are a shared space. I highly recommend watching the walk-through video – link below so that you can see how the space is arranged and the bespoke furnishings and attention to detail that gives this space the most wonderful, homely welcome.
